The timetables for the Late Spring 2021 session are posted below, and will be delivered virtually.
Similar to our academically rigorous in-class lessons, our virtual classes are structured with set start and end times, and deadlines are established for assignments, tests, and final exams. Classes are live and conducted through ZOOM video chat using a shared screen. Our teachers plan and execute lessons using PowerPoint, videos and white boards in real-time, allowing for students to have their questions answered directly. Extra one-on-one support from teachers is available during virtual office hours, as well as through email and recorded tutorials.
Any questions can be directed to the Night School Coordinator at parttime@blytheducation.com.
About Night School
Are you looking for the opportunity to work ahead by taking a credit course in advance of your next year? Are you seeking a prerequisite or a deeper understanding of the subject matter? We offer night school study at select campuses in Toronto and across Ontario. Choosing Blyth Academy for Night School courses allows students to maintain their home school while benefitting from our small class sizes and personalized approach. This gives students the opportunity to excel in core subjects while reaching forward for academic success.
Blyth Academy campuses will consider applications from mature students (20 years +) to study in night school programs, however, mature students must have an admissions interview with the campus before being enrolled in any course. Mature students are encouraged to consider enrolling in Blyth Academy Online courses as an alternative.
Night school courses run for the duration of a 15-week semester. You can choose from a range of subjects, including mathematics, science, and English. In addition, we also offer preparation for SATs. Course availability varies by campus and runs according to the schedule outlined below.
We strongly encourage students to register for Night School no later than 3 weeks prior to the start of classes.
