Blyth Academy Waterloo
Our Response to COVID-19
Blyth Academy Waterloo is committed to providing students with personalized instruction and support, focusing on critical and creative thinking skills, and nurturing curiosity, innovation and student leadership. We are also committed to providing ongoing communication between the school and families.
With the 2020-2021 school year fast approaching, we want to share how we are preparing our campuses to ensure that students continue to receive quality education in a safe and healthy environment. Our priority is to get students back on campus, however, we understand that students and families may feel hesitant returning to school. Our team is determined to work with each family to determine a solution for each and every student.
We are confident that our return to school plan achieves this, and we are excited to welcome students and staff back to our campuses.
Term Four Is Approaching
As we approach the beginning of Term 4, I wanted to reach out once again to our broader community and express my profound gratitude and congratulations for the work that is being done by our parents, students and staff in our new virtual environment.
Blyth Academy Campuses Will Remain Closed Until May
Following direction from the Ministry, all Blyth Academy campuses will remain closed until May. We will continue to follow the direction of the Ministry of Education and campuses will reopen once it is deemed safe and appropriate to do so.
A Letter From Your Principal
It has been an eventful week. We have seen lots of success—happy students, engaging classes, and teachers and students adapting to the new virtual classroom. The highlight of my day is going into the classes and seeing the students.
