Blyth Academy Yorkville is now offering a Cooperative Education program. Students will work between five to seven hours per day, for approximately five full days per week. Two High School credits are awarded to students upon successful completion.

Students attended Blyth Academy’s first ceramics summer school course at the Gardiner museum in Toronto. We value experiential education & the Gardiner is a perfect setting for students to further develop their knowledge and skills in the visual arts.
Students from Blyth Academy visited the terminals of Western Grain in Thunder Bay. This trip is part of a year-long study about Northwestern Ontario, specifically Thunder Bay.
Blyth Academy Yorkville held our first rooftop BBQ last Friday. This barbeque was a fundraiser for the Canadian Lighthouses of Lake Superior. Thanks to all who came out and participated!

Blyth Yorkville is excited to offer Writer’s Craft in Term 4 (EWC4C). “Little Red Schoolhouse” the illustrious writing program developed at the University of Chicago will be our platform. LRS, taught to all first-year students at that university, addresses clear writing, with the reader’s perspective in mind.
Today two of our Blyth Academy Yorkville Students, made their Radio Commercial debuts by recording the latest International Summers Radio Spot at Virgin Radio. Chloe White and Patrick Kinsella, both took turns in recording the voice over, which will be airing next Monday.
