Today our grade ten students participated in a health science conference (HOSA) at Hilton Toronto and have qualified for the final rounds in Nashville. Due to their hard work and dedication, they were able to create a PSA regarding childhood obesity and creatively displayed the dangers of being inactive. Other students dedicated a number of hours to reading medical books to prepare for an exam regarding medical readings.
I would just like to extend a huge congratulations to our students who participated at HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) conference today and will be moving onto the Nashville competition in June.
I would also like to extend a big thank you to Mr. Kovanchak who has also worked hard with the students to meet their goals. His leadership truly allowed the students to shine.
WAY TO GO TEAM!
