Students attended Blyth Academy’s first ceramics summer school course this July at the Gardiner Museum in Toronto.

Blyth Academy always emphasizes the value of experiential education, and the benefits it provides to a student’s education, and the Gardiner is a perfect setting for students to further develop their knowledge and skills in the visual arts through the use of clay, which just so happens to be one of the world’s oldest art forms.

This course has also offered students the opportunity to connect with and really become citizens in the community that surrounds them by engaging with this innovative institution in the heart of Toronto.

The results of this course were outstanding and are sure to ensure that this program runs again in 2018.
